McIntyre gets to his feet and backs Roode into the corner, hard. Roode hits the ropes but McIntyre tosses him clear across the ring with a belly-to-belly suplex. McIntyre launches Roode into the turnbuckle. McIntyre goes up top. McIntyre clotheslines Roode off the top. McIntyre kips up and tries to pick up Roode. Roode fights out of it and hits a Manhattan drop. Roode bounces off the ropes but McIntyre picks Roode up in an air raid crash. Roode kicks out. Roode stuns McIntyre on the top rope. Roode goes up top again. McIntyre cuts Roode off and joins him on the top rope. McIntyre sets up a superplex but Roode knocks McIntyre off the top. McIntyre hops back up but Roode crotches him on the top rope. Roode drops McIntyre into the tree of woe. Roode screams about this being his NXT. McIntyre sits up and suplexes Roode off the top.
McIntyre calls for the Claymore. Roode is out on the mat. McIntyre tries to pick up Roode but Roode turns it into a jackknife pin for a two count. McIntyre tries to hit the Future Shock DDT but Roode counters into the back stabber. Roode lights McIntyre up with chops in the corner, then a corner clothesline. Roode misses a clothesline and McIntyre traps him in a backslide. Roode kicks out but McIntyre manages to hit the Future Shock DDT! Roode kicks out! McIntyre picks up Roode in a fireman’s carry. McIntyre climbs up top but Roode counters into a powerbomb off the top. McIntyre kicks out a two. McIntyre and Roode trade strikes in the middle of the ring. Roode hits an enziguri. McIntyre rolls into the corner. McIntyre explodes out of the corner and obliterates Roode with the Claymore! Roode gets his foot on the rope to break the pin. Roode rolls to the outside.
