NXT Championship Match: Bobby Roode (c) vs Drew McIntyre
Before the match starts, Roode and McIntyre go face-to-face. McIntyre towers over Roode. Roode and McIntyre lock up. McIntyre drives Roode into the corner. McIntyre gives Roode a clean break. Roode chops McIntyre. McIntyre floor Roode with a shoulder block. Roode rolls to the outside. Roode rolls back into the ring. Roode lands a series of knife-edge chops Roode almost hits the Glorious DDT. McIntyre retreats. Roode does the Glorious taunt. Roode tells McIntyre he was that close. Roode tries to whip McIntyre into the corner. McIntyre reverses it. Roode goes for a leap frog but McIntyre kicks Roode in the head. McIntyre beals Roode clear across the ring after kicks Roode in the head.
McIntyre follows Roode to the floor. Roode boot McIntyre in the gut. Roode tries to dive off the apron but McIntyre catches him in midair. Roode escapes. Roode charges in but McIntyre picks Roode up and drops him on the ring apron. Roode surprises McIntyre with a spinning neck breaker on the second rope. McIntyre falls to the outside. Roode goes out to the apron. Roode dives off the apron and blasts McIntyre with a block buster. Roode drives McIntyre into the barricade before tossing him back into the ring. Roode beats McIntyre down in the corner. Roode whips McIntyre into the opposite corner. Running back elbow by Roode. Roode pulls McIntyre out of the corner and neck breakers him. McIntyre manages to land a few chops but Roode sends McIntyre into the turnbuckle hard. Roode mounts the second rope and missile dropkicks McIntyre. McIntyre kicks out. Roode applies a rear chin lock.
