WWE RAW Results (8/14): Bray Wyatt vs Finn Balor, Brock Lesnar Face to Face w/ SummerSlam Opponents, Neville Defends & More

Backstage Segment

Finn Balor came out of Kurt Angle’s office, cleaned off but still partially covered in that blood-like substance. An interviewer asked him why he wanted to see the GM, and Balor said that he had been granted a rematch against Bray Wyatt at SummerSlam. He said that Wyatt has his own demons, but on Sunday he’s going to find out that Balor is bringing his own Demon.

The Miz (w/ The Miztourage)  vs. Jason Jordan

The match didn’t last long as Jordan got the upper hand on The Miz and his groupies immediately rushed the ring to cause a disqualification. Jordan tried to fight them off and hit a big belly-to-belly suplex followed by several more throws, but the numbers game got the better of him. The Hardy Boyz hit the ring to a huge pop and started throwing lefts and rights and the Miztourage. Jeff hit Poetry in Motion in the corner and cleared the ring, and the three babyfaces stood tall.

The Miz & The Mistourage vs. Jason Jordan & The Hardy Boyz

This match was made during the commercial break by Kurt Angle. Matt started things out wearing down Curtis Axel and made the hot tag to Jordan, who got backed into the corner and hit with shoulder thrusts. Jordan came back with a nice gutwrench suplex and took down Bo Dallas with a fireman’s carry toss as he came in off the tag. Matt came back in and started wrenching Dallas’ arm, putting him in a standing armbar. Jeff tagged in for the first time and hit a neckbreaker into a front dropkick, but only got a two-count. The babyfaces continued working him over with quick tags until Miz’s group triple teamed Jordan into a commercial break. The assault was still ongoing after the break, as the trio kept Matt Hardy on their half of the ring, alternating in with quick tags and keeping things at a slow pace. Eventually the Charismatic Enigma made the hot tag and cleared house on everyone. He dropped Miz off the apron with a dropkick and came off the top rope with Whisper in the Wind to squash Dallas. He went up looking for the Swanton but interference stopped him. Hardy got slammed hard on the apron and Dallas hit a big neckbreaker, but Jordan made the save and threw him into Miz with a belly-to-belly suplex. The finish saw Dallas take a pop-up neckbreaker, the Twist of Fate and a Swanton Bomb.

Winners: Jason Jordan & The Hardy Boyz
