Kevin Owens (c) vs. Chad Gable
Owens is freaking out going after Styles, and Gable catches him with a trio of awesome back suplexes. The champion rolls to the floor to catch his breath as we go to commercial. During the break, Owens caught the challenger out and threw him into the barricade over and over again. When they came back the two were fighting on the top rope as Owens was looking for a superplex, but settled for just throwing him hard to the mat. Gable countered the pop-up powerbomb into a roll-up for two, and KO went right after him with kicks and elbows to keep him down on the mat. The challenger fought back with a nice suplex and came off the top rope with a crossbody for two. Owens through him hard into the corner post but came up empty on the running cannonball, and Gable threw him with a huge German suplex. The champion caught him coming off the ropes with a pop-up powerbomb to retain. // Winner and Still Champion: Kevin Owens
– Backstage Daniel Bryan is watching the Battle Royal from 2016 where Zack Ryder won to give his team a shot at the tag team titles. Ryder says that he sacrificed his body and spent six months injured, and wants the shot they were never allowed to take. Bryan says the tag division has changed too much since then, but if they can defeat The Usos next week they’ll be next in line for a title shot.
