WWE.com Exclusive: Roode says no one should be surprised that he successfully defended the NXT title. Hideo Itami may have earned his shot but Roode proved that Itami isn’t even in his league. Roode says he will decide who his next challenger will be after he is done taking a long break.

Drew McIntyre vs Wesley Blake

McIntyre and Blake lock up. Blake locks in a side headlock that he transitions into an armbar. McIntyre floors Blake with a shoulder block. Blake forces McIntyre into the corner. Blake gets in McIntyre’s face. McIntyre kicks Blake in the face. Blake lands a right hand. Blake tries to runs tot he corner but McIntyre chases Blake down and splashes him in the corner. McIntyre waist locks Blake and tosses him clear across the ring with an overhead belly to belly suplex. Blake rolls t the outside. McIntyre tries to follow but Blake stuns McIntyre on the middle rope.

After a short break, Blake locks in a rolling cross arm breaker off the top rope. McIntyre gets to the ropes to break the hold. Blake works over McIntyre’s arm. McIntyre hits an ax handle off the top. Sky high by McIntyre for a near fall. Black catches McIntyre with a knee to the face. Blake puts McIntyre in the cross face. McIntyre stands out of the hold. McIntyre lands a reverse Alabama slam for the two count. McIntyre tries to set up a superplex but Blake crotches McIntyre on the top rope. McIntyre sits up while hung in the rope and belly to belly suplexes Blake off the top. McIntyre obliterates Blake with the claymore kick for the win!
