Roode manages to kick Itami in the chest. Roode his a blockbuster off the top for a near fall. Roode rains down punches to Itami’s prone body. Roode chokes Itami on the middle rope. Roode kicks the middle rope into Itami’s throat. Rear chin lock by Roode. Itami tries to fight out of it but Roode levels Itami with a knee to the gut. Roode sets up a neck breaker. Itami counters it into a backslide for a two count. Roode clotheslines Itami. Itami kicks out. Roode bad mouths Itami. Itami pops up and slaps the taste out of Roode’s mouth. Roode kicks Itami in the chest. Itami hits a sick kick. Strike combo by Itami followed by a suplex. Top rope clothesline by Itami. Roode kicks out. Itami calls for the GTS. Roode counters with elbows. Roode charges Itami but Itami moves out of the way. Roode lands shoulder first into the ring post. Itami kicks Roode in the shoulder.
Itami locks in a Fujiwara armbar. Roode escapes. Roode tries to hit the glorious DDT but his shoulder gives out. Roode misses a blockbuster off the top. Itami hits a falcon arrow for another near fall. Itami charges in and runs right into a spine buster by Roode. Roode tries the Glorious DDT again but can’t Itami fights out of it. Roode pulls Itami to the outside and slams him into the barricade. Roode tries to throw Itami into the ring step but Itami counters and sends Roode shoulder first into the steps. Itami tries a delayed dropkick but Roode moves out of the way. Itami hits the steps hard and his clutching his leg. Itami and Roode trade strikes. Roode falls into the corner. Delay dropkick by Itami. Itami sets up the GTS but his leg gives out. Roode hits the glorious DDT but Itami kicks out!
