Loser Leaves NXT Match: Kassius Ohno vs Ellias Samson
Samson and Ohno lock up. Neither can get an advantage. Samson goes behind Ohno and rolls him up in a schoolboy. Ohno kicks out. Ohno rolls up Samson for a two count. Ohno locks in an armbar. Samson forces Ohno into the ropes. Ohno and Samson trade shoulder blocks. Ohno sends Samson to the mat after a stiff shoulder block. Ohno follows that with a running senton. Samson rolls out of the ring. Ohno dropkicks Samson through the ropes. Ohno lands a few chops before throwing Samson back into the ring. As Ohno gets on the apron Samson rolls out to the apron and pushes Ohno chest first into the ring post. Ohno falls back first on the ring steps.
After a short break, Samson is stomping Ohno in the corner. Samson picks up Ohno and slams him down hard to the mat. Samson locks in a Crippler Crossface. Ohno eventually makes it to the ropes to break the hold. Samson lands a stiff right hand. Ohno crumbles to the mat. Ohno and Samson trade strikes. Ohno has Samson on the ropes. Ohno charges in and runs into a clothesline. Samson only gets a two count. Samson attempts a boot, but Ohno catches Samson’s foot. Ohno boots Samson in the face. Ohno hits a tornado big boot for a long two count. Samson double legs Ohno and tries to pin him with his feet on the ropes. The referee sees Samson’s cheating and stops the count. Ohno tries to put his palm through Samson’s face with multiple palm strikes. Ohno sets up the ripcord elbow, but Samson reverses it into a backslide for another knee fall. Rising knee by Samson for another two count. Samson hits his neck breaker, but Ohno kicks out. Samson sets Ohno up in a reverse DDT position, but Ohno reverses it and obliterates Samson with a Roaring Elbow for the win!
Winner- Kassius Ohno
After the match, Samson refuses to leave the ring. The crowd chants “Drift Away” as the referees tell Samson he has to leave. Samson will not go. Security comes to the ring and drags Samson away. Ohno comes back to the ring and grabs Samson’s guitar. Ohno lays the guitar down in the ring. Samson tries to grab it, but Ohno stomps on it. Ohno picks it back up and smashes it. In the laugh out loud moment of the night, the crowd chants, “you deserve it” as Ohno smashes Samson’s guitar. Samson is apoplectic as the referees drag him to the backstage area.
