Backstage, Commissioner William Regal is holding the contract signing for the NXT Women’s championship match between Asuka and Ember Moon in his office. Regal says he has been looking forward to this match for a very long time. When Regal refers to Moon as Asuka’s challenger, Asuka starts to laugh. Moon says she knows who Asuka is. Asuka is a great champion. Moon adds that she knew that at some point they would clash. Asuka has let her success get to her head. Asuka’s fate may have been to become the greatest NXT champion of all time, but Moon’s fate is to dethrone Asuka. Moon signs the contract. Asuka says she knows who Moon is. And she knows Moon isn’t ready. Moon stands up and tells Asuka that she has been ready for a long time. Asuka laughs and walks away. Regal wishes Moon good luck.
