Impact Wrestling Results (3/9): Lashley vs. EL Patron, The Hardy’s Gone? Make Impact Great Again

Eddie Edwards & Angelina Love Backstage Segment:

McKenzie Mitchell asks Edwards if he expected all of this drama coming with Davey Richards and Angelina Love? Edwards never expected Richards to stoop this low. Angelina Love interrupts the interview. Angelina says that while her husband was home injured, everyone forgot about him including Edwards. He’s not a real man, because Angelina is married to a real man , The Lone Wolf Davey Richards. Richards has one more message for Edwards. Angelina slaps him in the face. Edwards says that if Richards is a real man, how come his wife hits harder than he does?

Dutch Mantell Promo:

He used to be Zeb Coulter, but his real name is Dutch Mantel. This the first time he’s ever been on TV in Impact Wrestling. He was called “Dirty” Dutch Mantel because he’s been in this business for more than 40 years, longer than most fans have even been on this planet. Dutch has been all over the world several times over thanks to the professional wrestling business. If it wasn’t for this business, he doesn’t know what he would have done. Dutch is not here to talk about himself, he’s here to talk about Impact Wrestling, because the ink was barely dry on the paper when they called him up.

Dutch was in the Impact Zone eight years ago when TNA was great, but a picture tells a thousand words. Dutch talks about when AJ Style, Samoa Joe, Bobby Roode, Sting, Kurt Angle, Kevin Nash, Christian and Booker T were in TNA. They all drifted away for a reason. He doesn’t want to bash anyone here, he’s just telling the straight truth. There was a lack of leadership, a lack of vision and a lack of respect. TNA didn’t expect the fans, the paying customers to leave. The new owners asked him how to make Impact Wrestling great? It’s simple, bring the people back. He’s working here now, he’s not a boss, he’s not an authority figure, but he gives advice because his boss is the fans. Dutch wants everyone in this building to stand up, put their hand on their heart, and say with a loud clear voice, We The People, Will Make Impact Wrestling Great.
