In Ring Segment: Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho
Owens says last week he told everyone that he has been proving people wrong his entire career. Last week he proved it again when he faced Strowman but he is still the WWE Universal champion. Jericho adds that tonight he is going to beat Sami Zayn tonight and remain the United States champion. Jericho says that he has a bone to pick with someone who has been walking around calling himself the G.O.A.T. Jericho puts Tom Brady on the list. Jericho says we all know that Randy Orton is going to go to WrestleMania and face the WWE Champion. Jericho pitches that Owens should face him at WrestleMania in a title vs title match. Owens says Jericho is right. That would be the biggest main event in WrestleMania history. Owens says as big as it will be, he is not sure he can fight his best friend.
Goldberg’s music hits and Goldberg takes five minutes walking to the ring because for some reason he is the only wrestler on the roster who isn’t in Gorilla waiting for their music to hit. Anyway, Goldberg tells Jericho and Owens they can step aside or grow a pair and take him on right now, two-on-one. Owens and Jericho move out of the way. Goldberg says he isn’t one to turn down a fight, so he accepts Brock Lesnar’s challenge for a match at WrestleMania. Owens says that was a great announcement. Owens says Lesnar vs Goldberg will make a great undercard match for KO Mania II. Owens ask Goldberg if he knows why Owens is the longest reigning Universal champion in history. Goldberg retorts that it is because Owens has never faced him. Goldberg says if he isn’t mistaken, Owens has an open card for Fastlane. Goldberg challenges Owens to a title match at Fastlane. Jericho is about to put Goldberg on the list, but Goldberg takes the list and pen out of Jericho’s hand and puts himself on the list. Jericho tells Goldberg that if he wants a match, he’s got it! Owens vs Goldberg! Owens is livid! Goldberg tells Owens that he is next.
