Backstage, Cedric Alexander says he is going to focus on trying to win the Cruiserweight championship. Fox and Dar interrupt. Fox tells Alexander that he will be nothing without her. Dar says he wants to make sure there are no hard feelings since he stole Alexander’s girl. Alexander says he has no hard feelings when it comes to Fox but Dar did attack him last week. Alexander pushes Dar to the ground. Fox steps in Alexander’s way so he can’t continue the attack. Fox says, “look what you did! You almost made him cry!” (yes that was a direct quote lol). Alexander looks at her like she has 17 heads and walks away.
In Ring Segment: Goldberg
Goldberg trips over his words and blames the crowd for tripping him up. Maybe he hit his head a bit too hard on the locker on his way out to the ring. Goldberg finally collects himself and says he is going to go win the Royal Rumble and go through either Kevin Owens or Roman Reigns to get his hands on the WWE Universal title. If he has to Spear and Jackhammer 29 other Superstars to do it, he will. Everyone in the back is NE… before Goldberg can finish, Paul Heyman comes out on the stage. Heyman notes the various dream match scenarios we could see at the Rumble. We could see Goldberg in the ring with Randy Orton, the Undertaker, or any of the various surprises WWE pulls out of their tuckus for the Rumble. Or depending on the luck of the draw, Goldberg end up in the ring with Brock Lesnar.
