During an interview with Todd Phillips, Nakamura says his matches with Joe were really tough, but he is proud to be NXT Champion. Nakamura says he is looking forward to facing Bobby Roode at NXT San Antonio. Nakamura says Roode is tough and good looking (err… ok). Phillips says he ran into Roode earlier today but Roode refused to appear on camera. He gave Phillips a ticket for NXT Brooklyn that he wanted Phillips to give Nakamura. Nakamura looks at it, laughs, and says “he kept this?” as the segment ends.

Dawson forces Gargano into the corner. The Referee attempts to separate them, but Dawson decks Gargano. After a tackle dropdown spot, Gargano inverted atomic drops Dawson. Gargano tags in Ciampa. Ciampa and Gargano clear the ring. After a short break, Gargano is working a side headlock on Dawson. Gargano atomic drops Dawson but Dawson tags in Wilder in the process. Wilder chop blocks Gargano’s knee. Dawson and Wilder take turns working over Gargano’s injured knee.
