Samson grabs a top wrist lock, which Samson then turns into a lifting armbar. Cruz tries to fight back, but Samson floors him with a stiff shot to the face. Cruz manages multiple pinning combinations, but Samson kicks out. Samson obliterates Cruz in the corner with a running clothesline. Samson tosses Cruz into the corner back first. Samson wraps Cruz around the ring post and bow and arrows him. Running knee to the head by Samson. Samson hits his finish for the win.
