United States Title Match: Roman Reigns (C) vs Chris Jericho (If Reigns is DQ’d or counted out he still loses the belt)
Jericho lands a few right and lefts. Jericho whips Reigns into the corner, but Reigns explodes out of it with a clothesline. Samoan drop by Reigns for a two count. Jericho catches Reigns with a boot in the corner. Jericho hits a dropkick off the second rope for a near fall. Jericho ends up getting crotched on the second rope. Reigns hits a clothesline. Reigns gets sent to the apron. Reigns tries to hit a Superman punch, but Jericho catches him with the triangle dropkick as Reigns is sailing through the air. Reigns and Jericho battle on the outside. Reigns goes for the drive by, but Jericho moves and Reigns goes face first into the ring post. Reigns is almost counted out. After the break, Jericho miffs on a running bulldog and ends up crotched on the ring post.
Reigns lands multiple clotheslines to Jericho’s back, followed by a back drop into a uranage for another near fall. Reigns sets up the Superman punch, but Jericho moves out of the way. Jericho attempts the lionsault, but Reigns gets his knees up. Reigns calls for the Spear, but Jericho kicks him in the head. Jericho attempts the codebreaker, but Reigns turns it into a powerbomb. Jericho reverses the powerbomb into a hurricanranna into the Walls of Jericho. Reigns turns the Walls into pin. Jericho kicks out. Jericho goes up top and dives directly into the Superman punch. Jericho kicks out again. Reigns goes for the Spear again, but Jericho reverses it into a walls of Jericho attempt. Reigns gets out of it. Jericho removes the turnbuckle, but the Referee sees him. As the Referee is trying to put the turnbuckle pad back on Jericho grabs the U.S. title. Reigns gets up and Jericho throws the title at him. Reigns catches it and Jericho falls to the mat, a’la Eddie Gurrerro. The Referee sees this and Reigns tries to explain to him what happened. Jericho gets up and hits the Code Breaker. Reigns somehow managed to kick out. Jericho accidentally runs head first into the exposed turnbuckle. Reigns hits a Spear and its over.
