In Ring Segment: The New Day
Xavier Woods says that overall 2016 was a great year for them. Big E. and Kofi Kingston make a lame sex joke before they go into their little longest reigning tag team champions dance. Big E. announces that they will be in the Royal Rumble. Before they can finish Titus O’Neil does Big E.’s New Day intro from backstage. O’Neil walks out and says New Day should add a new member- him. O’Neil tries to audition- he dances around the ring and plays a kazoo. O’Neil says they should picture his face on the box of Booty O’s because he is so much better looking then they are. Woods says O’Neil’s face belongs on the back of a milk carton. O’Neil calls Woods the weak link of the New Day. Woods Challenges O’Neil to a match. O’Neil punches Woods in the face.
Xavier Woods vs Titus O’Neil
Woods kicks O’Neil in the knee then hits a stiff elbow to O’Neil’s face. O’Neil kicks Woods in the face, then body slams him for a two count. O’Neil locks in a rear chin lock. Woods tries to fight out of it, but O’Neil pushes him into the rope. Woods catches O’Neil with a vicious elbow strike. O’Neil tosses Woods out to the apron. Woods kicks O’Neil in the face. Woods pulls down the top rope, which causes O’Neil to fall to the outside. Topé con hilo by Woods. Woods rolls O’Neil back into the ring. Woods goes up top for a splash but O’Neil catches him in midair. O’Neil lands multiple backbreakers. O’Neil picks up Woods for another back breaker, but Woods reverses it into a pin for the win.
