Sami Zayn defeated Rusev on RAW tonight and won the right to face Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler at WWE Survivor Series.
Zayn beat Rusev after Stephanie McMahon booked the contender’s match on RAW; Dolph Ziggler originally issued the interpromotional challenge on last week’s Smackdown Live. Sami made his case for the match, but according to Stephanie he needed to earn it first; you can see the end of the match below:
