In Ring Segment: EC3
EC3 calls Eli Drake to the ring. Drake says he doesn’t want to come to the ring. Drake said that EC3 didn’t earn anything. EC3 goes on a five-minute rant about how he earned everything he has gotten. Drake says he doesn’t need anything from EC3. EC3 tells Drake that if he wants to really be the man, he has to prove he has balls. EC3 asks Drake to put his Bound for Gold shot up against him. Drake says no. EC3 says he will go to the bottom of the card if Drake wins and never challenge for the world title again. Drake says next week they are going to make history. Next week… he is going to cash in his shot at the word title. Whoever wins the main event tonight will face Drake next week.
TNA championship Match: Eddie Edwards (C) vs. Bobby Lashley
Lashley locks in an armbar. Lashley picks up Edwards and drives him into the corner.Lashley whips Edwards into the opposite corner, but Edwards roars out and destroys Lashley with a clothesline. Edwards tries to kick Lashley, but Lashley catches his foot and back elbows him. Lashley tries to suplex Edwards, but Edwards lands on his feet. Lashley tosses Edwards to the outside. Lashley goes outside, but Edwards rolls back in the ring. Before Lashley realizes it, Edwards splashes Lashley. Edwards lands a few chops. Edwards plays to the crowd, which allows Lashley to belly to belly suplex Edwards. Lashley picks up Edwards and supexes him on the ramp.
