Former ECW, WWE and TNA star Kid Kash recently spoke with MMA Fighting’s Marc Raimondi while promoting his upcoming MMA fight for VALOR Fights this weekend.
Kash, real name David Cash, commented on his lack of respect for CM Punk, who made his UFC debut earlier this year, losing to Mickey Gall at UFC 203. Cash said he wants to knock Punk out, and said he’s never liked him:
“Damn, he’s the same weight that I am,” Cash said he thought while watching UFC 203. “How bad would I love to knock his ass out? I’ve never liked him. I’ve known the guy for at least 15 years, probably, and he’s been such an arrogant asshole. He was handed so much sh*t. He never earned a f*cking thing.”
Cash said he’s had experience in mixed martial arts and knocks Punk’s entry into the sport:
“I lived it. I’m not like Punk, who before he was a wrestler he was a video-game enthusiast, trading cards and stuff like that. And then he gets into wrestling, knows the right people and gets a push just because he knows somebody.”
Cash added that he doesn’t like how Punk left WWE either:
“How arrogant is that? You just simply quit an amazing job. It’s an amazing job. You make a lot of money. Your merchandise sales are incredible. You travel the world. On top of that, you’re one of the main headliners and you’re crying about it. I’m sorry, buddy. That’s just an ego shooting out, one for the ages.”
