The King compares Seth Rollins defeating Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens to the Cleveland Indians walking into Wrigley Field demolishing the Chicago Cubs. Booker is going with Kevin Owens to retain the WWE Universal Championship while Lita and The King are going with Seth Rollins.
– We see a backstage segment between TJ Perkins and The Brian Kendrick. Kendrick wants to know if Perkins made his decision yet. Perkins says that this match is more important than the both of them. This match is about the Cruiserweight Division. Perkins tells Kendrick to move on from the past. Kendrick says that he needs the Cruiserweight Championship, Perkins tells him to go win it the right way.
– Rich Swann joins the kickoff panel. Booker T says that TJ Perkins acts like a weak champion. Swann mentions the fact that there was 30 other competitors in the Cruiserweight Classic and he gets offended when he sees a guy like Brian Kendrick begging for a title shot. Swann proceeds to dance with the panel.
