Backstage, Stephanie tells Jericho he is in the match tonight no matter if he finds the list or not. Jericho says he doesn’t care what she says. Stephanie tells him if he doesn’t compete tonight, he is suspended.
In Ring Segment: Curtis Axel
Axel says he really did believe in Bo Dallas. After Dallas attacked him last week he has to reevaluate things. Axel is going back to his roots. When Dallas attacked him he attacked his grandfather Larry “The Axe” Hennig, and his father Mr. Perfect. There is no way he is going to stand for that in his hometown tonight.
Curtis Axel vs Bo Dallas
As soon as the bell rings Axel attacks Dallas. Axel whips Dallas into the corner, but Dallas gets his boot up. Dallas tries to hit the roll of the dice, but Axel reverses it into the Perfect Plex. Dallas kicks out. Dallas traps Axel’s head in the ring apron and pounds on him. Dallas hits a clothesline for a near fall. Axel surprises Dallas with a clothesline. Axel pays homage to his father with a running neck snap to Dallas. Dallas gets trapped in the ropes. Axel attempts a running knee, but Dallas reverses it into a school boy for the victory.
