Back in the ring, Cody mounts the second rope, but Edwards cuts him off and hits the backpack stunner for a two count. Edwards goes up top, but Cody cuts him off and takes Edwards off the top with a muscle buster for another near fall. Cody attempts the American Nightmare, but Edwards kicks him away. Cody and Edwards trade chops. Cody picks up Edwards and sits him on the top rope. Top rope superplex by Cody. Cody tries to float over, but Edwards hooks Cody’s leg for a small package. It’s over.
Winner and STILL TNA World Champion, Eddie Edwards!
After the match, Cody raised Edwards’ hand. Maria runs down the ramp and pulls Brandi off the apron. Maria tosses Brandi into the steel steps and runs away.
