Why WWE is a Good Investor Buy Despite Decreasing Event Attendance
Following the WWE brand extension, live event attendance has seen a noticeable drop, and GoSanAngelo.com has published a new article regarding WWE’s recent event in San Angelo, TX which drew 2,500 fans. The report noted that the event, which took place in August, was down in attendance from the previous event held in the same venue.
However, despite attendance drops following the brand extension, Seeking Alpha has published a new article noting WWE is a good buy for investors as live event revenue should increase because the company is now running more events having dual brands. The report also points towards more “special events”, like two brand only PPV’s per month as opposed to only one PPV event per month, and WWE Network being one of the company’s three primary revenue sources.
