The Miz opened the show with a promo insulting the crowd and talks about how he will end Dolph Ziggler’s career at No Mercy.
Dolph Ziggler defeated The Miz w/Maryse.
Competitive match-up with Maryse occasionally inteferring to help The Miz gain the advantage. Doplh wins the match with a Superkick after the Referee kicks out Maryse.
American Alpha and The Hype Bros defeat The Vaudevillains and The Ascension.
Crowd was into everything that the American Alpha did. The heels dominated the match by isolating Zack Ryder. Ryder eventually got in the hot tag to Jason Jordan who ended the match with Grand Amplitude.
Curt Hawkins defeated Apollo Crews.
Curt Hawkins made his entrance with a cane in hand. Short match that was not very competitive with Curt working as the heel. Curt won the match with a clothesline that had a similar set-up to Edge’s spear.
Nikki Bella and Becky Lynch defeated Natalya, Alexa Bliss and Carmella
Nikki Bella was over big with the crowd. Carmella ducked Nikki early in the match. The heels eventually isolated Nikki until Becky got the hot tag. Becky won the match with a Dis-arm-her.
Baron Corbin defeated Jack Swagger
Physical match that ended with Baron Corbin escaping the Patriot Lock and winning with a roll-up pin.
Randy Orton defeats Bray Wyatt
Competitive match-up with Bray dominating the match early and countering some of Orton’s signature moves. After several counters match ended with Orton winning with the RKO.
Kane defeated Tyler Breeze
Squash match with Kane winning after Tyler Breeze tried to take a selfie with Kane but got a chokeslam for his efforts.
Beauty And The Man Beast defeated The Usos for the Smackdown Tag Team Championships
The Usos got a face reaction for their entrance. They quickly turned the crowd against them by attacking Heath Slater and Rhyno before the match and isolating Heath for a good portion of the match. End came with Rhyno nailing one of The Usos with The Gore.
AJ Styles defeated John Cena and Dean Ambrose for the WWE World Championship
Match of the Night by far. All three men were over with the crowd, with Cena getting the biggest crowd reaction of the night. Cena and Ambrose teamed up on Styles early on in the match but quickly turned on each other. After a competitive match Styles got the win with a low-blow and pin on Cena.
After the match AJ Styles gave a promo about how he is the best. After recovering, Ambrose and Cena hit Styles with their finishers. Both Ambrose and Cena posed with the titles and signed autographs to send the crowd home happy.
Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.
