The Young Bucks defeated Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin) and reigning champions The Addiction (Daniels and Kazarian) in a triple threat match Ladder War to become the new ROH Tag Team Champions at tonight’s All Star Extravaganza pay-per-view. For those keeping track at home, the Bucks are now the current reigning Ring of Honor, New Japan Pro Wrestling and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla tag team champions.
Michael Elgin Makes US/Japan History?
Per F4WOnline.com, Michael Elgin may have become the first wrestler in history to compete in the main event of a pay-per-view in Japan, and the main event of a pay-per-view in the United States in the same week.
Elgin lost the IWGP Intercontinental Championship to Tetsuya Naito last weekend at their Destruction in Kobe show, and faced off against Adam Cole for the ROH World Championship Friday night. Although technically his match against Cole ended up being the semi-main event, as the three team Ladder War closed out the show.
