WWE Main Event
WWE taped the following matches for this week’s WWE Main Event before WWE Smackdown Live in Birmingham, Alabama:
Rich Swann versus Lince Dorado
Heath Slater & Rhyno versus Breezango
It should be noted that it was originally reported that the Cruiserweight division would be exclusive to RAW events, but talents would also appear on future NXT events as well. Since the brand split, WWE Main Event has been a Smackdown event since it’s taped on Tuesdays, with WWE Superstars being the other RAW roster show.
Kane
Tonight’s dark match saw Kane defeat a local enhancement talent by the name of Kevin Zion, who is from Nashville and has appeared for NWA Inferno, Southern Championship Wrestling and other area promotions.
Steve Austin
Steve Austin posted the following after wrapping up filming the new season of CMT’s Broken Skull Challenge, which will premiere this November:
