Impact Grand Championship Tournament: Trevor Lee vs Aron Rex
Round one:
Rex goes for multiple pins, but can’t keep Lee down for a three count. Lee forces Rex into the ropes, but Rex floors him with a shoulder block. Rex locks in a side headlock. Lee forces Rex into the ropes. Lee lands a few strikes before Rex decks him. Lee tosses Rex to the outside. Lee almost decapitates Rex with a penalty kick from the apron. Lee rolls Rex back in the ring. Lee locks in a rear chin lock. Rex whips Lee into the corner before Rex can land a discus punch the bell rings.
Aron Rex has won the first round.
Round two:
Lee and Rex lock up, but Lee hits Rex with two leaping forearms. Lee gets a two count. Lee sets up a suplex, but Rex turns it into a small package for a two count. Rex Russian leg sweeps Lee and follows that with his patented elbow drop for another near fall. Lee surprises Rex with a jumping knee to the face. Lee attempts to lock in a fisherman’s buster, but Rex reverses it. Rex hits the ropes and destroys Lee with a roaring elbow for the win.
