Johnny Gargano & Tomasso Ciampa Backstage Interview:
Dasha Fuentes asks Gargano and Ciampa for a medical update. Gargano says that DIY are cleared and ready to go. Tommaso says Brooklyn was a moment and the CWC was a moment. No offense to Noam Dar and Cedric Alexander, but they are preparing for the Revival. Ciampa says The Revival is scared. DIY is going after the WWE NXT Tag Team Titles.
Second Match: Kota Ibushi (Japan) vs. TJ Perkins (Philippines) in a Semi-Final Match in the WWE Cruiserweight Classic Tournament
Ibushi and Perkins shakes hands before the bell rings. Ibushi and Perkins goes to a knuckle lock. Perkins goes to a front face lock. Ibushi backs Perkins into the ropes. Ibushi blocks a kick from Perkins. Perkins with a go behind to Ibushi. Ibushi with the standing switch. Perkins blocks a kick from Ibushi. Perkins applies a wrist lock. Perkins transitions into the hammer lock. Perkins with a double leg takedown. Perkins tries to get Ibushi in the knee bar, but Ibushi reaches the bottom rope.
Ibushi works on the wrist of Perkins. Perkins counters with a headscissors takeover for a two count. Perkins goes to the side headlock. Ibushi ducks a clothesline from Perkins. Ibushi drops Perkins with a side kick to the chest. Ibushi with a springboard missile dropkick to Perkins. Perkins rolls out of the ring. Ibushi goes for the Golden Triangle Moonsault, but Perkins kicks Ibushi in the back. Ibushi is sent crashing to the outside. Perkins knocks Ibushi off the ring apron. Ibushi gets back into the ring at the count of nine. Perkins with a dropkick to the back of Ibushi’s shoulder for a two count.
