RAW General Manager Mick Foley announced Roman Reigns will get his chance to enter the WWE Clash of Champions main event by competing next week on RAW against new WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens.
Following Owens’ victory over Sami Zayn in the main event, Reigns came to the ring to confront him, but Owens backed away and tried leaving without further incident. Chris Jericho then came out to aid Owens, and cornered Reigns in the ring.
Mick Foley interrupted them and said Reigns will face Owens in a non-title match next week on RAW. If Reigns can successfully defeat Owens next week, he will then challenge Owens for the title at Clash of Champions along with Seth Rollins, making the match a triple threat.
