The Onion Jokes About Early Deaths in Wrestling
The Onion has published a new comedy piece on a former WWE wrestler being discovered alive at the age of 44. In addition to the made-up wrestler, Freddy “Time Bomb” Hendricks, that was found alive, it contains fictional quotes from Jeff Hardy, Edge and even Vince McMahon, who said the following of Hendricks’ “ongoing life”:
“Everyone in the WWE family could”t have been more shocked upon learning about Time Bomb, one of the all-time greats in professional wrestling. Our thoughts and prayers are with Freddy’s family during this undoubtedly sad and difficult time.”
