Top WWE CWC Star in NYC This Weekend

According to PWInsider.com, top WWE CWC star Kota Ibushi is scheduled to be in New York City this weekend, and while not confirmed, the feeling is he will be at NXT Takeover Brooklyn II in some fashion.

Families of Conor Michalek and Warrior in NYC

PWInsider is also reporting that the families of Connor Michalek and The Ultimate Warrior are in NYC for WWE Summerslam festivities. Conor Michalek is of course the namesake of Conor’s Cure, and Dana Warrior, wife of Ultimate Warrior, and their daughters, are in NYC.

GQ recently published a piece looking at how the “Four Horsewomen” of WWE, Charlotte, Becky Lynch, Bayley and Sasha Banks, are saving wrestling. Below is a quote from Bayley regarding her future and goals in WWE:

“Trying to help mold the next generation, or the next crop of girls that are going to be taking over the division—that is my goal. If the girls in NXT can remember things that they’ve learned from me that helped them, that just keeps building women’s wrestling. We’re fighting to make us all equal.”

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick attended New York University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Drama.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
