After the match, Bobby Roode comes to the ring and congratulates Almas. Not for the win, but because he gets to face Roode at Takeover: Brooklyn. Roode says Takeover will be his showcase and it is going to be glorious.
Backstage, Austin Aries is giving Regal health tips. Aries says Takeover Brooklyn can’t be special if Aries doesn’t have an opponent. Regal says he has someone in mind. Someone Aries has been avoiding. No Way Jose. Aries says he hasn’t been avoiding Jose, he has been ignoring him. At Takeover Brooklyn he is going to destroy Jose.
Billie Kay vs Liv Morgan
Kay grabs a side headlock. Morgan whips Kay into the ropes, but Kay flattens Morgan with a shoulder block. Morgan responds with a shoulder block of her own. Morgan dusts the dirt of her shoulders before hitting handspring head scissors, which sends Kay into the corner. Morgan tries to flip Kay out of the corner, but Kay drops Morgan on the top turnbuckle. Kay elbows Morgan in the face for a two count. Morgan surprises Kay with a jawbreaker. Morgan monkey flips Kay. Morgan misses a head kick. Kay pushes Morgan into the ropes and obliterates her with a big boot.
