More Details on WWE Contacting Former Stars for Brand Split Returns, Several Names Revealed

As we noted last night, WWE has reportedly been in talks with several past stars about returns to the company for the WWE brand split.

Forbes is reporting Kurt Angle, Jeff Hardy, Rey Mysterio and Goldberg are amongst the names contacted by WWE, and on last night’s edition of Wrestling Observer Radio Dave Meltzer noted that MVP, Stevie Richards and Carlito have all been contacted about potential returns.

Meltzer added he didn’t want to reveal anymore names at this time, but noted “everyone that’s available is getting at least inquiries.”

As noted, WWE is also expected to be “raiding” the NXT talent roster for the upcoming brand split.
