According to the movie aggregate site Rotten Tomatoes, the movie has a 61% rating, which means fresh, and is performing fairly well with critics. The following is the critical bottomline for the movie:
Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson make for well-matched comic foils, but Central Intelligence is a little too aimless and inconsistent to take sufficient advantage of their gifts.
In related news, Deadline.com is reporting that “Central Intelligence”, which was produced on a $50 million budget, is estimated to earn at least $30 million this weekend and is projected to claim the #2 spot at the box office behind “Finding Dory”, which will likely have the second best debut this summer after the $171.9 million opening for Captain America: Civil War.
