Current WWE star and returning UFC fighter Brock Lesnar appeared on ESPN’s “Highly Questionable” yesterday, and you can watch the entire interview in the video below.
During the interview, Lesnar discusses his past issues with vodka and Vicodin, and says life on the road during his initial run in WWE was rough on him. Lesnar talked about the real life injuries that are sustained in the ring, not to mention dealing with travel, living in hotels every night, dealing with airports and TSA, and he said sometimes the only thing he could rely on were his “friends” Vicodin and vodka. Lesnar added that life on the road in WWE, and for celebrities in general, is not as glamorous as it might seem because it’s a very hard job. Lesnar admitted he can’t remember 2 years of his life back then because of the substance use and the rigors of the road.

Lesnar also discussed the infamous “plane ride from hell”, which was a 7 hour plane ride that involved booze, pills and fighting. Lesnar said when you’re on a long plane ride like that you have nothing to do but sleep and get into trouble, and he did both. Lesnar says he doesn’t remember all the details of what happened on the flight, because he was “drunk and high”, but it involved him “whiskey wrestling” Curt Henning and then being reprimanded by WWE officials after the plane landed.
