Rich Swann Reportedly Nursing Shoulder Injury, WWE Cruiserweight Classic Match In Jeopardy

According to Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet, NXT wrestler Rich Swann recently sustained a shoulder injury and it could keep him from participating in the WWE Cruiserweight Classic.

Swann hasn’t wrestled at a live event since the end of March, and sources say it’s because he’s trying to let his shoulder heal before the upcoming tournament begins.

It’s unclear when the injured happened, but Swann last wrestled fellow NXT star Elias Samson, who coincidentally and quite separately is also dealing with an injury.

We’ll keep you updated on Swann’s status, but sources say he is determined to compete in the CWC.
