On whether or not Jake “The Snake” Roberts would be a good trainer for WWE:
BH: I don’t think so. I think he’d be good in a lot of ways because he’s got the right mind for it. I just think the road, being on the road, would probably not be the best environment for him. It seems to always be his downfall. If he’s got himself on the right track right now in a positive way then maybe going back to wrestling could be a big mistake for him. Unless he really wants to.
DDP: I don’t think he wants to do it. He doesn’t want to do it. I’ll tell you, he’s on the road right now doing these spoken word shows with his daughter Cody. She’s his manager. She handles all of his bookings. Handles everything. Jake will go on the road for ten days at a time and… it’s not with the boys… it’s in an environment that’s very safe to him. It’s comedy clubs. He can go in to bars and whatever and not drink. One of the things he does is he takes an Antabuse pill everyday. He tells people, “You’ve got a serious problem with booze? Take Antabuse.” The Antabuse makes it so you can’t drink. It takes that factor out. He owns it and he figures, “Why screw with it?” He’s been on the road a lot. As far as the training part, I’ll tell you who wants to do that and I think would be unbelievable is Scott (Hall). Razor. I watch him teach his kid. I watch him talk about the business. His mind is so tapped in right now. He just went to the UK for two days and he stayed for two weeks to work with Paige’s Mom and Dad. They have their own TV in the UK.
