Finn Bálor makes his way to the ring. A “thank you, Finn” chant breaks out. Bálor says he says the fans deserved to be thanked as well. Bálor wants to address the elephant in the room- Samoa Joe is now the NXT champion. Bálor and Joe have been at this for a long time and up until NXT Lowell Bálor has always come out on top. Before Bálor can continue, Elias Samson comes out and sings a song about Bálor. As Samson sings Bálor looks extremely annoyed. Samson stands behind Bálor and says, “you aren’t nothing without that title!” Bálor Pelé kicks Samson. Samson rolls out of the ring. Bálor takes Samson’s guitar and tosses it at him.
In a WWE.com exclusive from last week, Eric Young says he is here to prove himself. NXT is where he wants to be.
Backstage Bálor says he wants to kick Samson’s ass.
