Backstage Kevin Owens, The Miz, and Cesaro are all yelling at Shane and Stephanie to solve the Intercontinental title situation. Stephanie says there will be a triple threat match at Extreme Rules. Sami Zayn walks in and says he wants in. Stephanie tells him he needs to earn his spot. Zayn will face Miz tonight. If Zayn wins, the triple threat will become a fatal four-way.
Natalya joins the commentary desk for the next match.
Charlotte vs Paige
Charlotte misses a big boot. Charlotte and Paige end up on the apron. Charlotte mocks Paige by screaming this is her house. Charlotte turns around and Paige superkicks her. Charlotte slams Paige back-first on the apron. Charlotte rolls Paige back into the ring. Charlotte boots Paige in the face for a two count. Charlotte locks in a cravat. Paige tries to fight out of it, but Charlotte slams her down head first. Paige surprises Charlotte with a schoolboy. Charlotte kicks out. Paige hits a running knee, followed by a knee trembler. Charlotte retreats to the corner.
Paige charges in and gets elbowed in the face. Charlotte mounts the top rope for a moonsault, but Paige stops her. Paige takes Charlotte over with a superplex for another two count. Paige almost locks in the PTO, but Charlotte gets to the ropes. Charlotte tries to pin Paige with her feet on the ropes. Natalya gets up on the apron and Paige manages to tap out. Ric Flair “runs” down the ramp and gets in Natalya’s face. Shane McMahon comes out with a bunch of referees. They escort Flair away from ringside. In the confusion, Paige rolls Charlotte up from behind for the win!
