Michael Cole Speaks With Rusev & Lana About Their Wedding, Total Divas, LoN Being A Disaster, Wanting To Eat Kalisto’s Big Heart, More

On how the preparations are coming for their upcoming wedding:

Rusev: Good. Expensive, Michael Cole. Expensive. Unlike your wedding. It’s good because I would give anything for my wife.

On how Lana being cast in Total Divas has affected their lives:

Lana: I would say it really hasn’t changed anything for us. 

Rusev: They follow us. We don’t follow them.

Lana: I have to say that it’s an honor for Total Divas to have me and Rusev. Rusev is a real hero so people are going to be able to see why he is a hero. See behind the scenes. See me define what a true woman means. Our other goal is that everytime we’re on TV, on Total Divas, that the ratings will go way up.

On whether or not it concerns them having cameras following around their personal life:

Rusev: I could care less. I have cameras in my house anyways. Filming some stuff, you know what I mean? (laughs) Security.

On Rusev becoming the #1 contender to the US Championship:

Rusev: That’s old news, Michael Cole. I have been #1 contender since over a year ago. 

On whether or not Kalisto has been a great champion:

Rusev: Has he? 

Lana: You see, Kalisto is a small, little man. Almost like a child I would say. He reminds me of a little child. I won’t take away that he has a very big heart. Kind of like he’s overcoming obstacles like American’s always do. Overcoming obstacles. This is, you know, I am happy for him and all of the obstacles he’s overcome. He took the title from Del Rio and he was able beat Ryback. He has a big heart, truly. This is why Rusev is going to eat his heart.

Rusev: Yes.

Lana: Devour him.

Rusev: Plain and simple. 

Lana: He is a small, little man.

Rusev: The bigger the heart the fuller I get.

On Lana being around Rusev now more that the League of Nations has dissolved:

Rusev: Oh boy. The League of Nations. Just a bad decision to begin with. The whole League of Nations started over a card game we play backstage. We were like, “Hey! Let’s get together!” Bad decision. Lana tried to warn me from the beginning telling me it’s not a good idea. She would say, “If you want to have a boys night out, go ahead.” I did and she was right. I suffered, they backstabbed me and…

Lana: This is why I was not a part of it. I tried to warn him that it was going to fail. I can’t be a part of a failure. I was like, “If this is really want you want to do go have fun.” 

Rusev: We did have fun but at the end of the day you can’t trust anyone but her. 

On whether Del Rio has given Rusev pointers on how to take on Kalisto:

Lana: He lost. 

On what Rusev plans to do when he faces Kalisto for the US Championship:

Rusev: Well, it’s pretty simple. I am going to eat his big heart. I am going to take my title back. The United States Championship. It’s my title. When I see him and I will see him soon I will crush him!
