Nick Hausman had the following to say in regards to the launch of this new show:
When we made the decision to go back to doing a RAW post-show, call-in show I wanted to try and give it a different spin. We are so lucky to have amazing minds and talent from the world of pro wrestling in the WrestleZone Radio mix. Folks like Bret Hart, Justin LaBar, Ryan Satin, Bill Apter, Ed Ferrara, Joe Dombrowski, Bin Hamin (aka Ben Duerr) and on and on and on. It’s just amazing the wide variety of high quality insight we are able to create on a daily basis.
Along with all of the smart minds from the business that contribute I really believe WrestleZone Radio has some ridiculously smart fans. I’m very proud of the positive atmosphere we’ve been able to foster with WrestleZone Radio. Over the years I’ve been a part of a variety of projects that have had the word “Rebellion” tied in to them. The Chicago Improv Rebellion, The Chicago Wrestling Rebellion and of course my former podcast platform The Rebellion Network. To me true rebellion is not a negative thing, it’s a positive. I like to playfully shake up the system and ask questions. Not to try to burn things down but instead to try and build them up and find new ways of looking at something.
I hope that this show allows fans from all around the world to call in and chat with Ross and I about what they love and are excited for from the WWE Monday Night RAW product. At the same time I hope that this show serves as a platform to create intelligent and respectful debate about stories, characters and the presentation of WWE Monday Night RAW.
With all of that said… I really just want to have a big fun party. Every Monday night with all the awesome WrestleZone Radio listeners and regular contributors.
