Roman Reigns comes to the ring while being serenaded by a chorus of boos. Reigns let’s us know that he isn’t a good guy, or a bad guy, he is the guy. Reigns puts over AJ Styles in ring ability. Reigns goes on to say that Styles may think he is going to out wrestle him but He is bringing the big fight. AJ Styles makes his way down the ramp to face off with Reigns. Styles says he has to give it to Reigns. He is one heck of a champion, despite what the people may think. To beat Reigns, Styles will have had the match of his life.
Styles has been a champion everywhere he has been. Having the match of his life at Payback is going to make him champion. Reigns says they will beat Styles at Payback. He rather be respected with the WWE title, than liked without is. Styles says he rather be respected and liked. That is going to make him a phenomenal WWE Champion. Styles leaves the ring. As he is walking away Anderson and Gallows attack Reigns from behind. Styles doesn’t notice what is happening until its all over.
After another commercial break, Reigns is waling backstage. Styles approaches him and tells him that he had no idea Gallows and Anderson were going to attack him. Reigns tells Styles that he doesn’t believe him.
Baron Corbin vs Fandango
Corbin misses a punch and ends up eating a few chops from Fandango. Fandango goes to the second rope, but eats a right hand to the face on the way down. Corbin tosses Fandango to the outside. Corbin picks up Fandango and tosses him into Dolph Ziggler who is at the commentary desk. Corbin hits the end of days on Fandango for the victory.
Winner- Baron Corbin
After the match Ziggler attacks Corbin. Corbin destroys Ziggler with end of days on the outside.
