Vader said that he took his suit off in case Stan come out with his famous lariat. Vader brings up the fact that Stan broke Bruno Sammartino’s neck. Vader said that he started his career in the AWA with Shawn Michaels, Larry Zbyszko and etc. Vader says that you need strength and power to be in professional wrestling. Vader says that power is what bring in tickets. The ability to go to point A to point B is what brings you to the dance. Stan Hansen had heart a rate at 130 during a portion of his career and that spelled trouble for his opponents.

He calls Stan a mentor a wrestler in every since of the word. Vader says that’s the bottom line because Vader says so. From a mentor to a friend, finally getting the opportunity to be a tag team partner with Stan Hansen in Japan brings back alot of memories. Vader puts over Scott Hall. Vader brings up a story a from the Tokyo Dome when he and Stan went to war/broadway and his eye popped out. Vader had a argument over the Mastadon helmet with Antonio Inoki. Vader says that the lights went out in the Tokyo Dome and Hansen beat the living hell out of him. Vader introduces Stan Hansen

Stan Hansen: 

There goes Leon! Stan calls Leon his type of man. Strong, Fast and Stiff as a board. After that match Vader eyes was huge as the size of a head. Vader told Stan that he had tickets for the Buster Douglas/Mike Tyson fight, but Stan decided to go home because no punches from that fight would be tougher then the one’s that were thrown in that match. Stan says that it’s a honor for him to be part of this WWE Hall of Fame class. Stan thanks god for giving him lungs and legs to be able to make this induction speech a reality. Stan wants to thank JBL. All this year’s being retired, JBL continues to keep his legacy alive. If you don’t have a opponent then there’s no business. We’re all there to try to make it. Stan Hansen brings up Bruiser Brody. Brody poke fun over the fact that they were never find someone to be there for her. Stan Hansen thanks his wife for always being there for him. Stan appreciates his children and they all have gone there separate path’s. Stan Hansen had to thank Terry Funk for breaking him into the business.

Terry was a mentor for him. Stan reflects on how green he was when he was training with his trainers. Stan calls Bob Backlund one of the best athletes in the history of pro wrestling. Stan calls it a honor to wrestle him in Madison Square Garden. Stan Hansen said that his career started at the Sport Auditorium. He put over Fritz Von Erich, Chief Peter Maivia and Rick Martel. Stan admitted to the fact that he did a couple of jobs. Stan brought up his mother poking fun at him for losing to Rick Martel in 9 seconds. Stan brings up the story of how his feud with Bruno Sammartino started. Stan admitted he was nervous from wrestling around texas then the night being in Madison Square Garden. Stan thanks Bruno for the opportunity. Stan puts over his time in New Japan Pro Wrestling. Stan talks about his epic match with Andre the Giant in Japan. Stan owes his career in Japan to Andre the Giant. Stan thanked Giant Baba for their 26 years working relationship. He wants to thank the carpenters in the pro wrestling business that helped people like him get to where they are today. Stan gives a shoutout to the WRS in Wacho, Texas.
