* Drew Galloway defeated Tyrus to retain the World Heavyweight Title. The match was better than expected.
* Maria is out with it being the first night of her in charge. She talks about how before nobody cared about the Knockouts but she would mold the division in her image. She wants the division to be filled with “real women and not wrestlers.” Gail Kim comes out and accuses Maria of being behind Decay taking her hostage. Maria denied it. She then announced Gail Kim vs Rosemary tonight.
* Jeff Hardy vs Matt Hardy in an I Quit Match ended in an apparent No Contest. Jeff hit Matt with a huge Swanton off of the steps to the rafters. Matt was taken out on a stretcher and neck brace.
* Eli Drake is out for his talk show “The Facts of Life.” He has a giant red dummy buttom. His first guests are “dummy #1” and “dummy #2” the Bromans. The two sides go back and forth with Eli hitting the button every time he calls them a dummy. Bromans eventually run Eli off and hit the dummy button.
* Decay defeated Beer Money in a “Valley of Shadows” Match to become World Tag Champions after Abyss chokeslammed Roode into thumbtacks. The match was very similar to a Monster’s Ball Match and includes tons of plunder. It was described as incredibly violent. James Storm and Bobby Roode embraced after the match in an emotional moment.
* Jeff Hardy is out in the ring talking about last week’s I Quit Match. He said he Swantoned some sense into his brother. He said no matter what, he will not stop being Jeff Hardy. Reby Sky and Rockstar Spud come out saying that Jeff ruined his brother Matt and that they will make Jeff pay. Jeff blamed Reby for getting into the mind of Matt. Things got physical as Reby slapped Jeff. Jeff went after Reby but Spud attacked Jeff. Eventually, Jeff put Rockstar Spud down with the Twist of Fate.
Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.
