Stephanie McMahon is in the ring and she welcomes everyone to Monday Night Raw. Stephanie introduces her husband; the current reigning and defending world heavyweight champion Triple H. Triple H comes to the ring and says everyone watch Roadblock and hoped that Ambrose would be the one to defeat the authority. Alas that was not the case. Triple H goes into a rant about how people hope and how that’s the reason they are where they are. Triple H says the people hope that Roman Reigns will be the one to finally defeat the Authority and take the WWE title.
Dolph Ziggler’s music hits and he walks to the ring. Stephanie calls him a failure. Ziggler says he knows who he is and where he belongs and it’s right here in the ring. Stephanie threatens to fire him. Ziggler says if they dangle being fired over your head over and over again you realize that you have nothing to lose. Ziggler says no matter what they say he will never quit. He couldn’t take listening to them run down the fans any longer. Stephanie is about to fire him, but Triple H stops her because it will be bad for business because the people love him. They love him because he is a loveable loser like everyone in them. Triple H says Ziggler is good. He may even be great. Maybe he just has the wrong people behind him. Ziggler says he would never side with Triple H or his idiot wife.
Stephanie smacks Ziggler in the face. Stephanie says Ziggler is a loser but if he wants to carry the hopes and dreams of the WWE universe so be it. He will go one on one with Triple H tonight. If Ziggler wins, he can have any match he wants at WrestleMania, excluding the WWE title match of course.
