Matt Hardy, Rockstar Spud and Ethan Carter III In-Ring Promo:
Matt went into the cage with one mission and that was to win. Matt says that he’s defeated EC3 so many times it’s becoming boring. Matt says that he’s done with EC3 and he will never wrestle him again. EC3 is on the outside looking in forever because Matt Hardy owns EC3. Everytime EC3 made a move, Matt was two moves ahead of him. Matt says that he has to take time to pay homage to a man who helped Matt put the finishing touches to EC3. A man who the UK crowd will probably call him a sellout, a man who stood up for himself and decided to join a family that cares about him. Matt Hardy calls his great friend Rockstar Spud down to the ring. Spud said that you would probably sell out too if you had to spent the majority of your life in this dump. One year ago in this ring Spud was left in a puddle of his own blood from EC3. Spud says that it’s typical for the British Public to support the newest flavor of the month and disrespect one of your own country man by chanting EC3.
Spud says that nobody was there for him because they are jealous of his success. Spud says that he’s living the life of a hero and he’s a natural treasure. Spud tells the crowd to shut up. Spud says that what he did to EC3 was nothing more then good ole fashion revenge. Spud took the one thing EC3 loves and that’s the TNA World Heavyweight Championship, but it’s too bad because Matt Hardy is the TNA World Champion. Spud stands here and dedicates his life to the Matt Hardy Brand because Matt Hardy is the greatest world champion in TNA history. Spud tells Matt that they finally got rid of the cancer. EC3 storms down to the ring with a steel chair. EC3 knocks Tyrus down with the steel chair. Hardy with a forearm to the back of EC3’s head. Hardy goes for the Twist of Fate, but EC3 counters with a clothesline. Spud attacks EC3 from behind and they have a stare off. Spud heads out of the ring. EC3 says that tonight there will be no match, no referee, tonight EC3 challenges Spud to a fight. EC3 says that he’s sure as hell happy to be in Birmingham because he knows that there will be alot of people that have seen Spud their entire life and there will be no problem being in his corner and will help identify the body. Tyrus holds Spud back.
