Combat Crate is now shipping it’s first mystery crate, which sold out only 48 hours after launching. Combat Crate’s inaugural theme was ‘wrestling’ and 100% of the profits are being donated to charity.
Fans who purchased this crate, which was limited to only 50 crates, should be receiving their items soon, but Wrestlezone has an exclusive sneak peek at some of the limited edition items in the crate!
There is an item called “Combat Cuts” in this Crate, which is a trading card featuring a cut of something worn by a featured star. Bill Goldberg donated a piece of his prized Stingray belt as the first “Combat Cut” — this is a extremely rare item since it’s limited to 50 cards and by Goldberg himself, not to mention this is Goldberg’s first-ever ‘worn cut’ trading card!
These Combat Cut cards were hand-assembled by Combat Crate co-founder Reinaldo Horday, a 100% disabled US Air Force Veteran who served in Operation Enduring Freedom, and made specifically for Combat Crate to raise money for charities such as Wounded Warriors of South Florida.
Additionally, another new item in this crate is a brand new Goldberg t-shirt. This “Who’s Next” Goldberg shirt is exclusive to the Combat Crate, and it is the first genuinely authorized Goldberg shirt in more than a decade.
Every box also has a bag of Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee, compliments of Marley Coffee, a randomly chosen Funko Pop figure, a Mattel Defining Moments action figure, Topps Heritage WWE trading cards, “Combat Candy” from cosplayer / YouTube star Ireland Reid and more. Combat Crate, co-founded by Horday, Goldberg and Legends of Wrestling President and entrepreneur Louis “Uncle Louie” Gregory, has already announced their second crate’s profits will benefit Michael Pino, an infant son in a military family who underwent surgery at 20 weeks old to repair a heart condition called ALCAPA (Anomalace Left Coronary Artery from Pulmonary Artery).
