Austin Aries had reportedly been in talks with WWE / NXT since his TNA contract expired back in June of 2015. It’s speculated that he might have been delayed in signing due to medical screenings.
Tamina
Tamina was booked in matches on recent WWE live event cards due to injuries to both Naomi and Sasha Banks.
Naomi’s injury was not disclosed, however Banks was reportedly dealing with an MCL injury that was reportedly keeping her out of the ring until February.

Brutus Beefcake
Ed Leslie, aka Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake, reportedly teased he might be in line for a WWE Hall of Fame induction on a recent radio show appearance.
Leslie was on the Interactive Wrestling Radio show, and said (quote via Wrestling Observer):
“I’m confident it will happen. In fact, sooner rather than later. I don’t want to give anything away but I think there are some things in the works.”
