TNA Tag Team Champions The Wolves, who retained their titles at tonight’s TNA One Night Only: Live! PPV, created online speculation about their futures following a Tweet issued by Davey Richards, which was later re-tweeted by Eddie Edwards.
You can view the Tweet below, and it notes that after May 1st of this year the team will no longer be available for bookings. While the Tweet offers no further information, it points towards two possibilities. Either TNA is restructuring talent deals, which would include terms prohibiting the team from taking indy bookings, or the team has signed with another promotion, like WWE NXT.
TNA announced back in January of last year that The Wolves had re-signed, and if the deals were for one year, then their contracts would be expiring sometime this month.
If anyone is looking to book @TheEddieEdwards and I please get at us. We cannot accept Indy bookings after May 1. Thanks!
