Backstage, Mr. McMahon walks into Reigns’ locker room to give him the pre-fight instructions. Reigns doesn’t say a word as Mr. McMahon walks away.
The New Day are in the ring clowning around. They say they have a present for the crowd. A count down appears on the ‘Tron. When it gets to six, the count down switches to the old Chris Jericho entrance video the lights go out and Jericho’s music hits. Jericho says that 16 years later he has arrived to save the WWE. Xavier Woods tells Jericho that they have already saved the WWE. Jericho calls the New Day a bunch of assclowns. Jericho tells the New Day to shut the hell up because he has something to say. Jericho officially enters the Royal Rumble match.
The New Day vs Kalisto and The Dudley Boyz
Before the match can start, Woods yells that he wants Bubba Ray. Woods traps Bubba in the corner and slaps him on the chest. Woods celebrates as if he was just elected president. Bubba responds with a few slaps of his own, which causes Woods to thrive in pain and run to tag in Kofi Kingston. Kalisto dives off the top rope with a axe handle smash to Kingston. Bubba tags back in and picks up Kingston in a delayed vertical suplex. Bubba press slams Kalisto onto the New Day on the outside of the ring.
