Rey Mysterio’s contract with AAA will expire at the end of this year, and he will be working less dates in 2016, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Lucha Underground will be Mysterio’s main priority, as it is a bigger money deal and he has also said he wants to cut down on injury risks by working less matches. Rey has said he wanted to spend more time at home, which is one reason he did leave WWE, and AAA still hopes to use him for some bigger shows next year on a limited schedule.
